However you look at the future, whether it be short term or long term, our dependency on the earths resources is being challenged.
Mother nature has dictated the weather, or maybe it is HAARP. Whatever the blame there are some things that people can act upon to make their lives less dependent upon the gubbmint.
My advice, for whatever it is worth is.......

a. buy organic seeds now, root veggies, fruit trees and herbs. That border in your garden or that window box will be useful to you soon.
b. get your money/savings out of your bank accounts and buy silver dollars and gold coins
c. stock up on pastas and rice, (crops have failed in USA, impact on prices is imminent)
d. go out to the countryside, and source a farm or farming family and buy your meat, by the animal. Have it cut up to your requirements, and freezer it. Bacon and gammon prices will treble next year, 2013.
e. support your local (food) communities. We have local cheeses (thousands of varieties) to challenge France and other producers. Our apple varieties number the hundreds, albeit not in the same shapes and sizes, yet tasting the same.
