Just watched a cracking fai cup final. After a poor first half St pats went 1-0 up city equalised soon after then went 2-1 up pats equalised with 3 min left, city grabbed the winner in first period of extra time.
Thing that stood out was the passion of players from both sides, the Derry city keeper attended his grandfathers funeral this morning before racing down to dublin to play in the game.
Football has gone mad in the big money leagues, today was a flashback to when ther was integrity honesty and something to make you proud.

Why do Irish media continue to refer to them as Cup Champions.? They are Cup Winners or Cup Holders..Sligo Rovers are the Champions...but well done to Derry City , without wanting to get political this is a club that has truly represented it's people .
