in Ireland every county has a nickname, cork is called the rebel county so I became rebelgooner and changed to reb because the other name was too long
on thepeoplesrepublicofcork site im just called gooner

My nickname is Sid, my real name is Paul, but no only my Sis and her husband call me Paul even the missus calls me Sid.

Never liked at as a kid but its not so bad now i suppose there are worse nicknames and ive always loved Arsenal's nickname 'the Gunners' i think its the best nickname in sport let alone football so had that rather than Gooner
