Utterly Sh*t Players We've Made Look Good

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Utterly Sh*t Players We've Made Look Good

Post by richpye »

So Colin Kazim-Richards got me thinking about how many players we've turned into legends/ made look amazing when playing against us. So a few names below, just wondered if anyone else could add to the list

1) Colin Kazim-Richards

2 goals against PL opposition in his career - want to guess who they're both against?

2) Danny Graham

Totally convinced he has only played well 3 times in the PL

3) David Bentley & Danny Rose

Have either of them done anything else other than score against Arsenal

4) Christian Nade

Played for Sheff Utd when they bullied us at Bramall Lane in the mud.

Hleb is the biggest 1 without a doubt. Nasri is worth a shout too.

More to the point.
We didn't make any of those players look good. The goal today was as much a farcical strike as our keeper's punching the initial shot out in the first place.
Let's not give credit to players or teams of utter shiteness for beating us, just because we are inept and like the Keystone cops at defending, taking corners and shooting outside the box.

We are cock at home, away and at tactics yada, yada, yada

Agreed - Chesney's parry was a fundamental error. However, the warning signs were there when he came out and flapped badly on a free kick earlier.

I wouldn't say that Kazim-Richards looked good today. He did naught the whole match except come in late on tackles - oh - and score which was more to luck because his volley went straight into the turf and then bounced in.

Step forward Jermaine Penis...one of the most average players the scum have ever had, yet always ended NLD derby looking like he actually was a top midfield player instead of a shittier Rambo circa 2012/13

Jason Roberts- basically any striker that has upper body strength and can head a football. He ragdolled our backline in the Capital One Cup game at Reading.
