The Biggest game in the world

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

The Biggest game in the world

Post by corkbarry »

is on this Sunday in Dublin!
The majority of ye Heathens don't know but the All Ireland hurling final between Cork and Clare takes place in Croke park Sunday. 85 Thousand people will be at the game.
Similarities between The Arsenal and Cork, we both wear Red and White and Cork Hurlers have won nothing since 2005!
I feel it in my water that if Cork win on Sunday that it will be good luck omen for us to win something this season :barscarf:

Ha ha. Got one but much more difficult to see the ball. Looking bad for Cork atm.

Wow. I had forgotten how fast and exciting hurling is. Unbelievable finish. Is the ref related to Bennett? :D

No doubt that cork forwards bottled it today - they were literally shitting themselves every time one of those mad clare b**tards ( ) came anywhere near them

As much as I don't like GAA "foot"ball I have to say Hurling is a great game to watch and incredibly skillfull. Remember watching a game with an Ingerlish mate and he was shocked at the speed and ferocious nature of the game. He kept saying "it's like Oirish lads fighting with sticks and someone threw a ball on there!" 8)
