As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
On that man $hitty goal he should have done the old Gallic Shrug and said...naaaah! this is better and showed the 'It's Up For Grabs Now' moment - Yes it was before the Prem came into being ..But IS infinitely Better.
Good idea but generally poorly pulled off imo. The Roy Keane clip was very funny actually and not all of the iconic moments need a witty line or a silly little jig. But to me it was essentially a re-hashing of the same tired clips with Henry superimposed onto the screen.
On the topic of Sky adverts though I love this old-school one - fucking love Big Tone too
Think it's crap TBH, whenever I've seen it on the tv they've cut out the Invincibles bit but kept that fucking Collymore goal. Even without Arsenal bias I think it's fair to say that a team going unbeaten is more iconic than Kevin Keegan looking glum.
I've enjoyed Sky's coverage of La Liga over the years. I started watching it when Celta Vigo, Deportivo and Valencia were doing well.
Claudio Lopez was running rings around Barcelona, Celta had an exciting attacking midfield trio of Alex Mostovoi, Valery Karpin and Gustavo Lopez who were a joy to watch and Barca were going all dutch with Kluivert, the de Boers, Cocu, etc.
