Sent to Mr Gazidis
Dear Ivan,
Can I ask, do Arsenal PLC (I refrain from using Football Club) really need the £16 extra you are charging me for the Barcelona game ?
The PLC bank account is awash with money and will be added to and some by the new TV deal.
You seem oblivious to the sacrifices most season ticket holders make to continue supporting their club, this surcharge feels like a kick to the stomach !
It would not have been beyond Arsenal PLC (I refrain from using Football Club) to waive this as a gesture of goodwill, but no, you instead charge your loyal fan base even more.
We have already shelled out thousands of pounds, I am sure a high percentage are still paying credit cards, loans etc for this season !
As Irvine Scholar once said “there used to be a football club over there” !
Do you know what the worst thing is, well it is that I feel so far removed from the Club I literally fell in love with as a child, the one I have travelled over land and sea to support for 35 years.
I am sure nothing will be achieved with this mail as frankly I don’t think anyone at Arsenal PLC ( I refrain from using Football Club) cares.
I already know what the response will be “we haven’t raised season ticket prices for a few years” well that is the least you should have done !
How about reducing them ! the new TV deal and lower inflation (yes I remember that rise) spring to mind, no chance I guess.
Oh well, as they say, all good things come to an end.
Regards,
Martin Vine – Season Ticket Holder and loyal Arsenal fan (or customer as we are known these days)

Re: Sent to Mr Gazidis
I wrote a long letter to him last year telling him to sack Wanker. I didn't get a reply of course, but I felt better afterwards. I think I have this idea that in the back of Gazidis's office are two big piles of letters, one in favour of keeping Wanker and the other full of letters wanting him sacked. In my mind, he's sitting there waiting for one more to come in to sway his mind and there's a chance it might be my one and Wanker will be gone.
Re: Sent to Mr Gazidis
If you think anybody at the club gives a flying fuck you are very, very much mistaken.
The only time they will take note is when there are 4000 people in the Grove...until then, they could'nt give a toss,

SEASON TICKETS CUP TIE CREDITS 2015/16 - UPDATE
Hi John Paul
We have listened to our fans and recognise that there is confusion about the basis of our long standing policy on season ticket charges for our seven cup matches in our season ticket package. We believe that this policy, which last year resulted in a refund to fans and this year would result in a surcharge, is the fairest of the possible alternatives but we accept, on the basis of the reaction to our recent announcement, that we need to improve our supporters’ understanding of how the system works.
It was never our intention that we would upset those fans who are amongst our most loyal supporters. Having listened to feedback, we are announcing on this occasion that we will not ask fans to pay the additional amount due under our season ticket conditions for the game on February 23rd.
We remain of the view that our approach to our season ticket package of 26 games is the fairest it can be and is designed so that our season ticket holders pay the correct price each season for the matches they watch. However, it is clear that our fans have not been fully aware of the fact that even if we do play 26 games in some years they will get a refund, which happened in 2014/15, whilst in other years they will need to pay extra. This is linked to the teams we draw in the cup competitions.
The feedback since our communication last night has demonstrated that we need to find a way to create a better understanding for season ticket holders on how their season ticket is structured. We will commit ourselves to communicating this, and the rationale, very clearly to our fans going forward so that there is no such confusion in the future. Work has already started to address this.
Thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards

Dear Ivan (cc: Stan)
Thanks for slowly destroying a once proud club and all the values that it once stood for. I truly look forward to hearing from you but hope that is via air mail when you've long since disappeared and left the club back in the hands of people that care for it
Best

PS - Can you please take the picture of Cesc with you

Re: Sent to Mr Gazidis
I have not set foot in the Emirates for the last 3 seasons, but have always renewed my membership in the vain hope that Wenker would be on his way soon.
As that hasn't happened I have come to the decision that this season I will cancel my dd and inform the club exactly why - Wenker.
I am aware it will have no impact, but it will make me feel better and it will save me £30 odd quid that I can have a decent takeaway with.

I'd rather send him a big steaming pile of horseshit rather than a letter, because thats what they've been letting us have for years.
