Villa match sold out in 1 hour

Post by Spooky »

Just wondered why the final home match of the season sold out so quickly?

In the past, tickets to the last home game have been readily available for a few day.

Is it that the dream is still alive?
or
A Wenger last hurrah?

It's to see the signing of a new eight year contract for the old fraud.

Because it's probably the last time Villa will be in the league for a decade.

Why wouldn't is sell out fast?

1. We have a large fan base so selling out is normal
2. There's a slim chance of winning the league so who wouldn't want to see that?
3. If the scum or Leicester win the league then Villa (h) is our last chance for angry fans to let the manager/club know how they feel
4. Villa will be relegated, which is funny :D
5. Could be Wenger's last game (I know, I know)

Plus it's category B so relatively cheap.

Also, not sure it sold out in a an hour. I logged in and easily bought a ticket in my lunch break (12:30-1pm) on the day they went on sale to silvers.

Alternate theory being all the AW fans want to be there to celebrate his new contract

I heard that Rodders bought up an entire block as he felt he needed some room to himself when the VT is walked round the pitch at the end

My "In Arsene We Trust" underpants are starched, laminated and ready to go along with the gimp mask and anal beads. If I could only get my mug in a celebratory selfie taken by the Ox and Chambers during the lap of glory it would the be the perfect end to a perfect day :barscarf:

I'll have a word with "Theo's people" and see if they'll give you his shirt at the end mate. Make sure you save your reserves for that special day by the way.......no peeking at Natalie between now and then
