Modern Football Bol**cks

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Jewish Gooners apparently felt "unsafe" with one fan asking club stewards to stop what was a peaceful protest and have slated the club cos they were told that the club has no power to intervene when it isnt on their property - fcuk me where do these c.unts get off ? :banghead:

https://www.msn.com/en-ie/news/uknews/a ... cee4&ei=70

Reality is that most of the world were disgusted at the hamas attack on Israel, but equally most of the world is also outraged at the ongoing slaughter of palestinian people by Israel and want people to intervene to stop this massacre - people are entitled to protest peacefully on any subject, and just cos individuals may not see things the same way, it doesnt mean our club should get involved and take sides ffs  :cussing: :cussing:

Agree to an extent augie, but having seen one of these in person there is a rather different undercurrent than just peaceful protest against israels reaction (which is completely OTT and simply causing more issues long term and short)

i condone neither and the whole region causes most of the world's issues imo (controversial but would be a more peaceful and safe world without out all the shite that ultimately stems from that wider region and the historic issues caused by the tensions between Israel and the arab/moslem World.

Full in daily mail but I can understand the intimidation and feelings of Jewish folk from some of these protests as the undercurrent is clear, everyone knows it but daren't say.

We should just wall the whole region off and let them sort it out amongst themselves once and for all.

My point wasnt meant to be about taking sides, but more about the fact that (a) some fans expect the club to get involved when it is nothing to do with them and (b) we have enough non Gooners jumping to bash us in the media so why would our supporters give them more ammo ? If as a jewish person they feel (incorrectly) that the club stewards should have done more, then write to the club and tell them so - dont go running to the media ffs

Lads, might be best not to get into the whole Isreal / Palestinian thing on here. Politics causes nothing but long repetitive shit threads.

There shouldn't even be a hall of so-called fame.

It's another ridiculous American idea (some of them "induct" people twice!) that has no place over here but has been slavishly copied presumably for marketing/hype/not having any original ideas of our own reasons.

Does anyone here read other fans’ forums?

RAWK. Red and White Kop. A place steaming with arrogance. Where absolute bellends talk about Arsenal as a nothing club with no pedigree and apparently no identity. They are convinced we have stolen their songs, Arteta has stolen Klopp’s fist bump and the Emirates, has stolen the Kop’s atmosphere. I’ve never seen a mass sectioning of a fan base but it looks appropriate for that cess pit. The irony is that they have been City’s bitches for the past decade. The only “Title” they won doesn’t even count as it was behind closed doors in the COVID season. If fans were in the grounds I guarantee you they would have bottled it like they have done every other season.

They are and always will be Victims. Yet they are the guiltiest fan base in the whole of England’s history.
