season-ticket/gold membership

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Are season ticket holders and Gold members :) the same thing?? When i purchased a season ticket did i automatically become a Gold member without paying any additional money??. Plus, how come they've suspended the sale of red memberships while the Final tickets are on sale, i wouldn't have thought that the sale of red memberships has any bearing in regards to the final, maybe coincedence??. If anyone knows the answer it would be appreciated, Thanks...

maybe the suspension of red memberships is due to the membership department dealing with a influx of calls regarding passwords to access the online registration for cup final tickets.
