As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I do wonder how the hell the Emirates is going to look when full capacity is allowed again, I mean reading between the lines here but it seems like the interest and passion in watching Arsenal is at an all time low, we were regularly getting 40,000ish crowds towards the end of Wenger's years and some of the time under Emery/Arteta, I think it will be regularly 30,000 or even less at the corporate bowl if capacity is allowed anytime soon.
Seeing as how much we rely on matchday revenue and no sponsors worth their salt are going to be interested in a midtable club with a half empty stadium it's hard to see the appeal for KSE to hold on the club..
Richard Garlick eh?, the club already stinks enough without another unpleasant odour hanging around..
It's all gone quiet on the takeover bid. Usually suggests that talks are going on in the background.
Would like to think that but I doubt it - I am more inclined to believe that either no proper serious bid was made, or kroenke told them emphatically that there would be no sale.
If no serious bid is made ek will have made an utter fool of himself and my spotify subscription will be cancelled too
The Mail say #Arsenal insist that there have been no bids for the club despite the flurry of activity that has surrounded Daniel Ek expressing his interest in a takeover. https://t.co/uf6mtoQDPJ

Would being definitely out of Europe affect the price? If so and the bid is not just a giant advertising campaign for Spotify, Elk may be trying to buy and download Arsenal at the end of the season.
Daniel Ek insists he has made an offer for Arsenal (thought to be £1.8bn) that was rejected, hours after the club said they had not received a bid. #afc Story: https://t.co/2J6SkqdNPI
Daniel Ek: “This week I made an offer to buy Arsenal to Kroenke and bankers that included fan ownership, representation at board and a golden share for the supporter. They replied that they don’t need the money. I remain interested should that situation ever change”. #AFC

Stan Kroenke is thought to want at least £2bn if he's to consider selling #AFC & some sources place the figure considerably higher. Figures close to the nascent consortium say Ek would have little problem amassing the sum necessary to tempt Kroenke into selling. [@guardian_sport]
