    He's injured already :coffeespit:
I guess it was all that strain of having to lift a fountain pen to sign his contract...

One day we will see the shirt sponsorship change from Arab Oil / Emirates to:

    St John's Ambulance Brigade. :?

🚨 || Arsenal have formally entered the race for Marco Asensio. The player would be keen on a move to the Premier League [Via - @DiarioAS].
In Arsenal's case that is Journo Rumour Speak for:

Edu has texted Carpet head saying:

"Ere Carpet Bonce I hear this bloke called Acensio is looking to move to the Prem, at least that's what his agent has e-mailed to all the Prem Teams, I'll respond to his e-mail and say - we'll give you Pepe and a Sherbet Dab for him (maybe)" - That should get the ole formal enquiry rumours going to keep the fans off our backs whilst we sun it up on our hollibob's!"

How long does it take for us to sign a player?!... Jesus!.

    🙄

Sky reporting United in talks with Martinez now.

No panic here though, doesn't matter who we sign, on field success is what manager/owner should be judged on.

Expect us to finish about 5th again as things stand. Not good enough

At this rate we’ll be selling him before he is announced as a signing.

    BBC:

Arsenal, who are close to confirming the £45m signing of 25-year-old Manchester City and Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus, have agreed personal terms with Leicester City's 25-year-old Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans.

You can his number 9 shirt in the club shop so seems odd they’ve not formally unveiled him

Aren’t you only supposed to approach the player once the selling club has given permission ?
    Otherwise it’s tapping up.

It doesn’t state we have agreed a fee with Leicester ….

Anyway, yes please, and add Martinez asap and that is a pretty good window when you throw in Saliba too.

Still need to offload a fair few mind - Xhaka, Leno (would be happy for him to stay but we have signed the American 🇺🇸 Turner, so can’t see it happening ) Bellerin, Torriera, and Eddie now he has signed a contract

Edu still has to agree the fee apparently

Is he more of an attacking midfielder, know at leicester he liked to get forward

I'm not sure about what's legal or not, I thought (perhaps mistakenly) that if a player was in the last year of their contract, their agent could act on their behalf, as in put out the feelers to see who might be interested.

I would take Tielemans for sure and if we (as has been said) can get Martinez it would be a decent window, BUT I need to be convinced by Jesus as being our main striker, he just looks too lightweight; like Eddie the feather.

Tielemans is one of those mid-fielders who can break forward but also does his fair share of tracking back and defending. Good at dead ball situations as well.

Dunno if it's my imagination but Carpet Bonce seems to be going similar kinds of players (regardless of their position) seeming to be more interested and focused on their skills than having physical attributes, strength and presence... Much like TOF used to do before he was fucked off out of the club (10 years too late)

I still think we should have kept Guendouzi and fucked off CliveElCunto. (Mind you just getting rid of the latter would improve the team ten-fold).

I don't think Martinez-Lite sees Jesus as being the main striker. I think he'll play him in a three with Eddie as the main striker..... and I think we will again struggle to score enough goals to get in the top 4 never mind actually challenge for or win anything. :?
