ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I expect us to be quite ruthless in the Summer. Tomi will be out if he carries on as he is.
I really like him when he first arrived, really don’t know what has happened to him

He has gone from very reliable to god knows what you are going to get ….

Yes, I think they'll look to replace him. He had a decent first half/part of the season and an okay WC for Japan, but since he got injured and then returned he has been woeful. Sad but True. :?

.

🚨 || Napoli have reportedly set an £86m fee for Victor Osimhen and Arsenal are more than willing to pay it, already setting up a proposal [Via - @Gazzetta_IT: Print Edition].

🚨 || We can confirm the earlier @TimesSport article that Gabriel Jesus is very close to joining Arsenal. The total offer to City is €58m (£49.5m) [Via - @GEGlobo].

Searched back through the archives to find a previous link to my man Osimhen……

Today we are linked again , but previously so have Utd and Chelsea been, and no doubt other top European clubs.

Surprised McDowell hasn’t posted this below, from the BBC football gossip page

The Gunners are also leading the race to sign Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 24, despite interest from Manchester United. (Rai, via Mirror)

I've written Nelson off so many times in the past and been right every single time. He has been useless.

But.....

That late winner was a superb strike and showed he has the balls to step up and be counted when it matters most. I'd risk another season with him. To be honest I don't think he'll cut it, but I would like to see him become a great player for us and prove me wrong on that one.

I've been wrestling with this question, so if anyone else is grappling with it maybe we can pin something down between us?

Let's hope a new contract for Nelson doesn't cost us an arm...........and a leg!

His history of goals and assists is good this season, he has a horatio of a goal or an assist every one and a half games 8)
