🚨| Arsenal have submitted a second offer for Moises Caicedo of £60m - plus £10m in add-ons.

Brighton are set to reject the offer, with the Seagulls demanding £80m for their star midfielder, according to Simon Jones @MailSport #afc
£65m with £5m as add ons if targets reached seems fair to me.

We should offer them Lakonga (£20mill?) and £60 mill moolah!.... They get a mid-field player (cough! cough!) to replace Caicedo, we pay less and get the player we want and lose some of the dead wood... I call that a win, Win, WIN! Situation. :barscarf:

Got a buy out cause of £52m ( May be euro’s rather than £)

Not a follower of any other leagues so couldn’t pass comment with any degree of my usual knowledgeable information

Story doing the rounds a few days ago was that we indicated that we were willing to meet the buyout clause, but that the player himself is not willing to leave sociedad mid season

Get Caicedo.

When Jesus went down I knew it wasnt a critical blow to our season as I had faith in Nketiah. But after Partey, Eleny is our best holding player and he is the definition of average, but given he is injured, it goes to Sambi who is clearly out of his depth.

Were straight up gambling without if we dont end up with Caicedo. Because whilst I think the team can carry Elneny in the games against less opposition, against big teams we will get exposed. However Sambi cannot be trusted against any team. He also has a piss attitude, there is footage of Odegaard telling him three times to take up a central position (he just wandered aimlessly toward the ball and left a gaping ball infront of Saliba and Gabriel). Sambi then stormed of down the tunnel at full time, sulking because the captain told him off. We cant accept this insubordination, a very junior player ignoring and not reacting to an instruction from the captain. He should have played his last game for Arsenal. We dont ow this guy anything, it was a 16m punt that failed. get Caicedo and sell Sambi in the summer.

Please get the Caicedo deal done. He is striking wanting to leave, offer the fee required and Brighton will accept.

Partey is one player we cannot even begin to cover.

Does make me smile. Winning the league is probably worth well over 100m to us, never mind the potential extra sponsorship, and we're worried about paying an extra 10m for someone who might well get us over the line?

Welcome to Arsenal!

I’ve been thinking, if we get Caicedo, then we’d have Moses and Jesus in the team....we’d be unstoppable. :barscarf:
