It's funny cos I read his comments and think that they came from a very frustrated Gooner. Look at the timing of his tweets - one was straight after blowing a 2 goal lead against the scum, and one was after cesc was sold to barca, and some were posted in the month of the 8-2 capitulation in old shatford. Which of us didnt post comments like that on here at the time ?

Emiliano Martinez confirms he is leaving the club [https://t.co/yBSbmJAxhZ].

Finally, Auba signs. Most important signing of the summer. Anyone else signed from now is a bonus.

From the highs to the lows. Genuinely gutted he is leaving, but wish him all the best. I just hope he doesn't end up at a big club in the future. If that happens then we know it was a mistake to sell him.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 8:02 pmEmiliano Martinez confirms he is leaving the club [https://t.co/yBSbmJAxhZ].

Martinez transfer to Villa confirmed. Wish him well In other news it looks like Everton are willing to sell Iwobie. The Walcott not assured of his future at Goodison either. Also read that Yaya Sanogo's move to Middlesbrough is off due to fitness concerns. Nothing got to do with an unbelievable lack of footballing ability then?

the Martinez transfer demonstrates why Arsenal will never really compete whilst we have Kroenke in control.
sickening that we have let go arguably our best goalkeeper for just £17 million whilst the billionaire sits back at his ranch doing nothing

I couldn't agree more GR.. Kreonke and his son are a fuckking Cancer on our club and will do nothing but the bare minimum to keep their profits rolling in, whilst enabling them to expand their scumEvilasFUCK Business Empire across the world.Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 10:15 amthe Martinez transfer demonstrates why Arsenal will never really compete whilst we have Kroenke in control.

Who was it on the board now who said "We don't want their kind involved with Arsenal FC" - At least not till kroenkeCuntay offered him enough to sell his soul and our beloved AFC down the river.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Watching the goodbye interview with Martinez and he genuinely looks gutted to be leaving, which makes me wonder why he is going.
Why leave the club you love, challenging for trophies, to join one who will be in relegation battles year after year?
If he had backed himself he could still have easily displaced Leno, who as we know isn’t adverse to making a few mistakes, during the season.

Because (a) he has spent 10 years of his career being nowhere near first choice for a club and (b) he knows that his stock has never been higher so he can get a premier league club to buy him when that wasnt the case 12 months ago, and might not be the case in 12 months time either.
