I'm sure we nearly signed him mate. Just like we nearly signed Kante!Natural Born Gooner wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 3:32 pmNever going to happen as he'll probably head to Spain, but seeing Gündoğan absolutely boss this game (and it turn it on each season when the pressure is on from March onwards), if we are going to get any Man City "cast off", he'd be the one!
Imagine signing him back in 2016 instead of the worlds greatest pointer.

Not a single bit of credit for the oil cheats from me , pure and utter money , no romance , no bringing young players through. Buy the best players , buy the best coach and cheat yourself to success. Boring as fuck.

So just to check, is that one league cup for nearly £2bn in transfer fees for Manure over the last six years?

I’m still not getting the Haaland the greatest forward of his generation hype. I mean he’s an extremely effective finisher with bags of pace but there have been dozens like that over the years. His near goal a game ratio is because he’s up top for easily the best team in Europe which spends half the game laying siege to the opponents penalty area.

Yeah, I couldn’t help myself slightly wanting Man U to win it. Can’t stand them, but they’re a proper club at least. What City have been allowed to do could by the by spell the end of the game as it was. They’ve brought the billionaires super league to the UK. They’re on the verge of a treble but it rightly generates not awe or admiration, but little more than a shrug outside the Etihad/Sky Sports bubble.scotgooner wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 4:02 pmNot a single bit of credit for the oil cheats from me , pure and utter money , no romance , no bringing young players through. Wasn't this the plan all along?

Not sure about not bringing youth players; Foden, Lewis, Alvarez are doing well in a very well-built City team.scotgooner wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 4:02 pmNot a single bit of credit for the oil cheats from me , pure and utter money , no romance , no bringing young players through.
