other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Pep the GOAT - winner of the Champions League with err...one club
Let him to go to Barnsley with fuck all money and see how well he does then, let him really earn his best manager in the world tag,my wife would win the league in Spain and Germany with the 2 of the best teams in club history,he inherited a great Barcelona side and did the same in Germany, and funnily enough he inherited the city team when they were champions,he always seems to take the safe option,2008 apparently was the last time his all domineering sides won him the CL,he’s never been truly been tested in his managerial career.

'Ere Rob, do you think she'd be up for replacing Arteta??

As long as she’s home to make my dinner and wash my clobber I don’t see why not mate, even she knows Xhaka is a ceunt   :barscarf:

She's a good woman and clearly knows more than a lot of idiot Gooners. I take it she knows that Wenger is a complete fart pipe* too?

Middle result was very much "special circumstances"

Absolutely loving these play offs

Last night and tonight - miracle comeback from Wednesday!

Give me this over boring shitty predictable PL football any day, and give me a European final any day too. Not a West Ham fan but they've got something to look forward too and savour

It’s what football on a level playing field produces. Drama. Elation. Agony. Not a fucking procession from a pimped up club that obliterates the opposition. It’s the irony of sport washing. They are so good everyone hates them. Has defeated the whole object.

Exactly right. The excitement and anguish on the faces of these fans, and in the AZ V Shammers match off the scale compared to any boring PL game. A nice concept ruined by greed and a lack of any balls from the governing bodies. We should be heading to Budapest trying to win our first European trophy in 29 years and having similar emotions to those fans tonight....but we thought the greater good was a PL we would never win. Called it at the time. The big club that hasn't won a PL for nearly 20 years, and a European trophy for nearly 30, picking and choosing what games to take seriously. Now we are 3rd seeds in the cup of greed because of our own stupid snob value these past few seasons. How ironic that not taking the EL seriously could see us finish 3rd in our group and end up back in it

It grinds his soul that his son is an Arsenal fan.

Never had anything against Peterborough before I heard his toxic drivel, now they would be in my top 10 teams to lose on a weekend.

his wife is a gooner and they have season tickets
he thought his kids would grow up to be Peterborough fans
but she took them to The Arsenal and they are gooners
hence all the anti Arsenal crap he's spouted on Talksport for years
