other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

International football is fucking mind numbing, absolute shite.

Just 10 more minutes for Zinchenko and Saka to survive, no chance Worzel Gummidge takes him off the the fucking dull bastard
To be fair, Saka has been very clever and managed his game very well. He's barely broke a sweat this half

If you think of the clubs they play for you will get your answer

As soon as either or both leave their clubs their international careers are over

True, it speaks volumes about how Horse Face thinks.

That's what he had in 2019 when playing on loan in France. Normally means about 4 weeks out, but experts said an old injury should not mean there's a weakness in future. Bit worrying if it's the same injury again though!

Considering it’s now 11 days since it happened the medical team must have moved on from “suspecting” what it is to knowing exactly what’s up.

I would expect they do but I don’t have a hotline to the medical team. Pretty sure it’s a stress fracture but that was from a few days back so things could be clearer now.

Found the Ghana game on BeIN sports 4, commentary is in French so I don’t know what the fuck is going in. Absolutely shitting myself about the prospect of Partey getting crocked but a few minutes in I realise he’s not even playing.

After 10 seconds relief thinking he must be rested I’m back shitting myself thinking he must be out because he’s injured. Can’t find anything online and can’t understand the commentary

An hour in, Ghana 1 down. They’ve just made 2 subs neither of which was Partey thank fuck. They’ll have to make attacking subs now so unlikely he comes on.

The camera showed the bench and he was standing up giving instructions, looked ok - fingers crossed he is.

If all good him not playing at all is a massive boost :barscarf:
