other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Given the furore over our recent defeat, the chavs have just defeated Juventus by the same scoreline. That's what we should be aiming for.

He's been manager there for 50 games and they've kept 32 clean sheets

That's with a fairly average looking defense (on paper at least!) made up of a 37 year old Thiago Silva, Rudiger and Christensen as their back 3 and Chilwell and James as wing backs.

I don't know how the fuck they're doing it :banghead:

Could have a lot to do with Jorginho and Kante in midfield as opposed to perming 2 from Lokonga , Partey and Xhaka.

Could also be something to do with having an experienced Manager who knows how to get the best out of those available to him and playing to their strengths.....

And Tee-Cee you misspelled (?) 35 years

It's a bit above their level, isn't it?

First united sack the Norwegian PE teacher just before we get to play them and with the way Everton are absolutely bombing under Rafa (who the fans despise) it wouldn’t surprise me if we we had another manger bounce situation when we play them next Monday.

There been shit today and play Liverpool midweek, lose that one and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get the bullet.

Loving the Everton crisis, another journeyman manager, that many on here believed we should have appointed!
