other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tavares and Balogun both scored again at the weekend for their loan clubs

Fair play to pep's cone boy for loaning them out - inspired management
FFS you were slagging Tavares off not too long ago!
I have no faith in Arteta but!!! FFS?

For starters did you happen to notice the winking and laughing emoji's by any chance ? I was taking the piss so lighten up ffs

Secondly, I think that it is FAR too soon to write off tavares and I think he is being harshly treated by many Gooners, so I wasnt slagging him off not too long ago. He is a young player and it takes more than one season of sporadic appearances to settle in a new country and new club, and I would rather that we loaned him out to another english club for the season and see how he gets on then

Draw best result for us so I'll admit that I was delighted the scum scored 8)
If you’re not banned for a this then I walk

Two things -

1. I hate the chavs and their neanderthal racist scum shit club no history fans, as much as I hate and pity our scum neighbours

2. More importantly, we are imo likely to be vying with both for top 4 this season so that makes both of them rivals in my book. I dont buy the hype about the chavs being a good team at the mo, but I do believe that they are far from finished buying, and by the end of this transfer window they could have a strong team that will worry me. To me it is a no brainer that both teams dropping 2pts if far preferable than one team dropping 3pts
If both matches end in a draw then 2 points to each of them is probably better than 6 , from our perspective , even 4 and 1 or 3 points each still would be an inferior outcome, so I get Augie’s logic - even if he overstepped the mark in his celebration.

Scousers trailing to Palace. Do seem a bit disjointed up front. But it will be another case of injury time until they score.

Bindippers down to ten now. Cue ref getting death threats and his house and children pictured on social media unless he gives their homeless, crackhead looking cheat the usual non-penalty.

Manure and Dippers next week. Surely, surely its got to be billed as a relegation six pointer. If only it was Sunday, it could have been Survival Sunday. Perhaps Mediocre Monday?

Murderous Monday? No doubt there will be 10,00 cheating scousers with Forged tickets trying to get in and so blame Man U for not increasing the allocation in honour of Nunez who was victimised by the ref...

Magistrates Monday. Instead of an irrelevant match between this season's equivalent of Watford and Norwich, we just watch the Magistrates Court sentence both teams' sets of sex offenders, wife beaters and murderers. Martin Tyler can shout out stuff like "Ohhhh, teennnnnnn yeaaaaaarrrsss! Teeeeeeennnnnn yeeeeeaaaaaarrrrrsss. Brought to you on Sky Sports! You'll never see a better sentence."
