Adidas New Kit Sponsor (NSFW)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just wondering why our pre-match training top is yellow green and black, instead of red, white and blue? Manure have same design top in their club colours red, white and black.

It’s something to do with representing Jamaican heritage around Highbury. :rubchin:

They're on collaboration number 4 million on arsenal direct this morning, can't even be arsed to link it. Needless to say it's ghastly and probably already sold out.

Any sign of the Anfield '89 re-release ya slaaaaaaaaaaaaags.

I thought I read that was the reason. When I lived around Highbury don't recall seeing much of a Jamaican heritage, thought that was more towards Hackney. I do recall it being the most culturally diverse area I lived in. Totally, random though a bit like adopting the Tube seat cover design last season.

More Irish heritage round North London than Jamaican, I’d have thought?

I do remember a few of my ex work colleagues used to refer to the top of Blackstock Road as "little Algeria" because of the cafe's along the road. They were from Algeria and Morocco. Maybe, a North African theme will be next.

Adidas should do a “Tuesday Club” release. Basically a collection of shirts with beer and kebab stains and shattered car windscreen all over them.

Next seasons kits have apparently leaked.

Home looks ok, away not so much. Not as beautiful as this seasons black kit, that’s for sure.
