Soton H Sat 23rd Ko 3pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Henry, Wright(league), Bergkamp and Overmars scored their first Arsenal goal v Southampton. Who can we turn to today?

I do not like that system - we have 2 good attacking full backs so don't need to play them further advanced to get them driving forward. To me it reads like a team split into 2 mini teams - you have your back 3, plus your midfield 4 (2 full backs and 2 defensive midfielders) to keep the backline secure, and you are basically throwing the other 3 up top on their own and expected to win the game for the team

On paper it looks good but can they do the business, the gaffer is on thin ice so they better pull out the stops for this one.

I can't see this being anything other than depressing and why is ex-England bowler Gladstone Small playing up front for them?
