Streaming Advice
Re: Streaming Advice
One more thing...
A VPN can also gives you an added layer of security. If you use Private Internet Access for example, they don't keep any connection logs so there is no record of what you're connected to. All your ISP will see is that you are connected to a server in another country, there is no way they can tell where your final destination is connected. Something you definitely won't get with a free service.
PIA have proved this in US courts when compelled by the FBI to hand over thier user logs in a few prosecutions.
They can't give what doesn't exist!

Thanks Clummo, you are a genius! One more "idiot" question if I may. I've downloaded the free VPN on Chrome and set it to USA. Do I have to turn it on for each use or will Chrome now automatically open in/with it?
Re: Streaming Advice
I haven't used chrome extension VPNs before so I don't know for certain. I would imagine it is permanently on. An easy way to check is do a Google search for What's My IP Address and it will tell you where it thinks you are.Red Snapper wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 1:52 pmThanks Clummo, you are a genius! There should also be an On/Off switch somewhere in the extension on your toolbar.
