Yeah! I saw that...doesn't it usually spell The Death Knoll for a manager when that happens?

The ole managerofthe month curse! so we know he's not going anywhere (yet) so we'll probably lose the next 3 games or so. :|

I’m going to put the positive spin on things that the club will wheel out.
Last 5 games = 11 points
Champions League form

Calm down everyone

Never in my lifetime has one AFC manager produced so many boring displays. Honestly its like watching paint dry. 160m spent and I would say the defence looks better. The rest just looks like strangers passing from side to side, scared to take any risks and without an ounce of creative flair. Over coached boring dross and its been happening since the first few games he took over

I tend to agree with you.
However the club will look at things the way I posted. So he will not go.

Can't see a win against Villa on Friday, which we 100% need against mid table teams at home to get nearer the top of the table. :banghead: :banghead:

As for CL form, last season's marker was around 68 points, so @1.98 points per game, I'm assuming we're gonna lose at least 3 games more, so if we continue that average needed for the rest of the games that still leaves us needing at least another 3-4 points. :barscarf:

We're already off the pace, we certainly don't score enough goals & we have let in a bucketload already! :cussing:

He'll get until the end of the season, I can't see Wiggy & co giving Captain Black another £160million odd squids to spend in the summer.

Has he gone yet?

where are all the twunts who had a pop on here after the scum game about how we were still moaning yet clear progress was being made etc etc.

facts are after 2 years in the job we have gone backwards.

Arteta gets less out of a bunch of moderately talented players than Potter or Paddy get out of a bunch of average journeyman/championship level players.

Thats undeniable and indefensible and the only reason needed to bin him.

Im reaching the point where i want us to fail so his position becomes untenable as its the only way for change. At this point id even take Thierry as manager over him, despite that being a potential disaster it couldn't be worse than this...but at least i'd back Titi to realize that and walk away if it were.

the feeling of the last minute equaliser was similar to one we scored in dicks dying days i think against southampton at home maybe and again laca. Was my last game at the ground and no one knew how to react as it just helped prolong the misery.

Hard to see where Arsenal are going under Arteta. You could read a book in the time it takes to develop some attacks. Partey signing a flop so far. Top 4 a distant dream on last nights’ evidence.

Boring robotic football, all the creativity stifled out of them and players regressing very quickly worryingly, Tierney being a prime example.

With Tierney I do wonder if he has also played too much international football this year.
I reckon he and Saka are exhausted

Which match is the banner being flown at ?

Dear, oh dear , it’s turgid football at its best….

He even had the ‘king cheek to quote shit about “handbrake” - for that alone he needs to go .
