Arteta has had talks with Wenger to bring him back to Arsenal and Arteta said he can’t say in what role yet!! He’s coming boys, even though he’ll be as welcome as Rolf Harris at a children’s picnic.
The end of Arsenal.
From the BBC:
"What I can say is that I would like him to be much closer, personally, to me because I think it would be a great help, I think it would be a great help for the club," he said.

"Things take time and I think he has to dictate those timings. What I can say is from my side and I can say, I think, on behalf of everybody, is that we would be delighted to have him much closer."

Wenger's still in charge...
Is Arteta saying he hasn’t got a clue and needs a has been old fart to direct him ?
:banghead: :banghead:

What I can say, is out means out :barscarf:

Any £ left in the kitty for another banner or plane ?

Martinez-Lite wants to bring Herr Venger the Dark Lord back to The Arsenal?

:coffeespit:

Because ten years of abject failure in the league just wasn't enough? Where are those two lads that keep telling us Martinez-Lite should be given more time, that we aren't right in the head?

Although Arteta is beginning to win me over with the greater consistency of team selection and performance, I get the feeling that Van Bronckhorst will be our next manager to take us to the level of challenging for the league title.

Based on what? He could be a total flop at rangers

Still very, very, early to proclaim him as a possible future manager for us - he won a title at Feyenoord but only once in 3 or 4 seasons I think.

Think I’d prefer Vieira, if he can continue to do okay at Palace ( don’t expect him to win anything, just keep them up / lower mid table )

Led feyenord to first league title in 17 years, he'll do the double with Rangers and he was linked with us when arteta was struggling. If overmars takes over from edu he will be favourite. That is of course if arteta leaves in a couple of seasons.

Another shamefully naive and inept display in a big game tonight

The project continues....

If our board had any vision and bollocks, they'd sack the useless tub of hair grease and get in Ten Haag before Man Utd snap him up.

Say what you like about that shower from up the road but they saw a chance with Conte and grabbed it. They will finish above us this season.

Years ago we had multiple chances to land a big one as Wenger's contracts came up - Klopp, Pep, Allegri. Time and time again we went with a 'safe option that wouldn't rock the boat and its the reason why we now finish below the likes of West Ham, Leicester and Spurs. Shambolic mismanagement of the club

Spot on - yet again as we head into December the club appears to be going nowhere.
There have been some bright spots this season, but the last 3 games we have clearly been going backwards.

This is the toughest month of the season in terms of number of fixtures - and I have very little confidence that Arteta will steer us through it with many wins.

Fully expect Rafa to have a bit too much knowhow for Arteta and despite Everton being dogshite, they will still turn us over.
I had once again started to get drawn into a mood of sceptical optimism but that is disappearing fast.
I reckon by Christmas the wheels will well and truly come off.
I just hope we don't let Vieira pass us by and see him at Citeh in a season or two.
