COVID on the rise again, more people have it now than at the peak of the pandemic and lockdown.

Eldest daughter tested positive Tuesday and was completely knocked out. Younger daughter same on Thursday and now the wife today! All 3 suffering with blistering headaches, nausea, fatigue and temperature jumps. Guess it’s just a matter of time for me! And all of us are triple vaccinated.
It’s still out there people, and possibly worse then ever. But hey, Johnson says it’s over so what do we know?

My eldest has tested positive and she's triple vaccinated. Hopefully, she'll pass it onto her mum, my ex, who had to shield first time round. But I think evil demons have a natural immunity to it.

The problem is that the NHS is once again coming under pressure- there are 20,000 people and rising in hospital now with covid.
You would hope that as we come into the summer months that figure might decrease but I think next winter could well be problematic if all rules are totally relaxed.
So Omicron 1 and Omicron 2 have mutated joined together and formed a new strain which appears to be even more transmissible. Whether it avoids vaccination s is yet unknown .
This does explain the rise in cases , we will find out in a couple of weeks.

I can’t believe anyone is bothered about Covid anymore tbh . Most people have had it and had their jabs , if not jabbed their fault . My sister in law works on the Covid ward and said they are nearly all 99% anti vax and the first thing they say is I want the jab .
