Bayer Leverkusen have concluded the transfer of Granit Xhaka, with an announcement of the deal ‘just a matter of time’. Arsenal respected Xhaka’s decision to leave & agreed to the move. [@ARSENAL442com] #afc

If true, the best news to come out of the club this season, and if already completed this early is a massively shot in the arm for the team for next season too.

I still wish he had gone to Mourhino (I still don't understand that interest???) He would have been found out in Italy in less that half a dozen games. The Italians have zero patience...... If you don't believe me, look at Ramsey......beloved, fantastic player according to our fans who should never have been let go. Within 6 games he was a permanent fixture on the bench in Italy before being hastily let go. Xhaka would have gone exactly the same way. Pity, it's exactly what he deserved......I think he might get away with it again in Germany.

I’ve often wondered this,just how can a player who,quite frankly must be like playing with a ticking timebomb,continue to be rated by managers? I know I’ve not worked 30 years in football but how exactly can a player who gets maybe only 4 goals from centre midfield per season,but gives away countless needless free kicks,penalties,gets pointless yellows,and does nothing for the team keep being so highly talked about?
Maybe I’ve watched a different Granit Xhaka the last 7 years?
