I said to him at half-time "Arteta's in game management is non-existent, so I suspect you will get in the game more as it goes on." I wasn't wrong. Very disappointed by the last 20 mins of the game, as it made them look better than they were. We should have gone for six, to be honest. Granted, we didn't need to do anything in the second half, but we let them back into it a bit more than needed.
Eitherway, WE BEAT THE SCUM 3-1!

Yeah my comment about being good with the ball at his feet stemmed more from what I saw in his first 2 games than on Sunday. That pass out to Xhaka was horrendous which in fairness to our Swiss buddy he dealt with it really well.
What I like about him kicking it long (even if it does go out for a throw) is that he seems to know, for the most part anyway, when to kick it long or when to play it out from the back. Too often Leno only seemed to want to play it short, even when it wasn't on and a big boot was needed, putting us in a world of shit at times.
You gotta know when to hold em and know when to fold em and if Ramsdale thinks it's too dangerous to go short he'll boot it and I'm all for it.

Ramsdale showed humility and admitted he got it wrong for their goal, although from that distance combined with the power I'm not sure he could have got more on it, but that aside Leno hasn't as far as I can remember shown much humility over his regular mistakes in the media.

He did have an excellent game - he didn't get sent off, and he got injured.

I actually went over there as an old pal who lives up north came down, hes been ill with the dreaded cancer and was his first game for almost 3 years .At the last moment a ticket appeared for me ,I havent been in for about the same time .
I was extremly impressed with the atmosphere ,best Ive seen in the corporates ,and the team played well ,even xhakatard looked ok but then spurs did look utter shite !
Anyway happy days and a good drink up aftwerwards !
