Hello all,i dont post an awful lot as i do not comment unless i feel i have something worthwhile to say or add but i am an avid reader.My thoughts on all this bickering is that i think the actual thread about the game should be about the actual game.Yes the tactics,selection,performance can and should be discussed .However there are other topics where Arteta can be discussed or individual players can be so maybe there is no need to use the game thread to complain when we have won.As a supporter of The Arsenal for over 45 years, i do find it surprising and a bit depressing that a topic about a 3-1 win ,in what has been a poor period in our recent history, descends into arguing and negativity.Why invest in a team if even a win makes you feel like you want to moan and does not seem to give much enjoyment.
Finally i do have to say that all this farteta and various other pretty lame name calling is embarrassing for grown men to resort to in an attempt to be funny/insulting.I like a funny nickname (colin wanker,hatrick bamford ,sanogoals etc) but come on lads.
I don't post loads either, but I would say that I couldn't care less about name calling, banter and the like. Why be bothered or embarrassed about perceived childish comments? I think that probably says more about you than a reflection of the forum. Without people from different walks of life being able to come on here and blow of stream or talk crap or whatever, then this forum would be an absolute bore. I suggest you have a think about whether this forum is the right fit for you. The banter, the humour, whatever, is not going to change because you don't like it. Have a think and if after a week you feel you can come back on here and express an opinion without insulting regular members then great. We've all contributed to trying to make this a free and open forum where Gooners can have a laugh or a moan without the fear of bans or reprisals. I'm always reluctant to ban anyone and within the rules I could have banned him permanently for WUM behaviour. But we'll give him a chance. If after the 7 days are up and he comes back on here with the same attitude I won't hesitate to ban him permanently.

Appears to me that there are less tourists and a lot more people coming to games that genuinely want to be there. In fact the general sale tickets seem to be getting into the hands of people who can’t normally get a look in and are therefore chuffed to be able to see the team. Quite refreshing.
