Stadium renaming

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Stadium renaming

Post by wilson2.0 »

Hypothetical as the naming rights to the stadium runs to 2028 & the Kroenke's wouldn't pass up the cash.

But if the deal with the Emirates was dropped, what would you rename the stadium.

I ask I I just realized Napoli stadium is named after Maradona, which is great. With that, I would rename the stadium after Thierry Henry.

I would not, ever, name if after Wenger

I'm sorry but this thread is awful.

If this just degenerates into the usual "the club is shit, the owners are shit" stuff then I'm going to merge it with the Modern Football Bollocks thread because corporate naming of stadiums is the purest definition of modern football bollocks, or maybe the Wiggy thread.
