Auba dropped again , now remove the captaincy

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tierney took the arm band today. Although for me he isnt vocal enough.

I believe its down to two choices. White & Ramsdale. I would give the armband to Ramsdale, make White vice captain, Gabriel and Tierney to round of the '3rd' and '4th' captain.
Odegaard will probably be next captain as I agree Tierney is a lead by example player. I also wouldn't be surprised if Tierney is at Real Madrid next season if rumours are true.
Never heard that. He’s under contract and happy isn’t he?

Seems an unlikely fit to me but you never know I suppose.

Is there a Japanese left back we can buy? :barscarf:

It's been reported on BBC sport and sky sports in the recent weeks he's one of a few players they're looking at. Nothing concrete. If there is a Japanese left back I hope his calf muscles can hold up better than Tommi's do.

Do you mean in the BBC rumours section where sources include footballLondon, the sun, the daily star, team talk etc?

Chelsea are now considering Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as potential new striker. Discussions have already started on player side.

If he goes there and performs it’ll just prove what we all thought - once he got his big contract he stopped caring. Arteta was right to bomb him out as quickly as he could. See also Ozil.

Ig he scores against us and takes the piss then this place will rightly implode - again I will say that I dont think anyone was outraged about moving him on per se, but many of us were outraged at moving him on without bringing in someone to score the goals to replace him

Still one of the most baffling decisions I’ve ever seen at this club.

Ship out the ‘talismanic’ striker (albeit out of favour and form, and not entirely wanted) in January and bring in…..no one.

It doesn’t make any sense, at all. A loan deal would have sufficed.
