By George - he did it !

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I always thought George got the final touch and that is conclusive. My dearly missed mate Alski always reckoned it was Eddie Kelly's goal and now I'd just like to say fuck you Alski buddy it was George's!

Cannot believe GG is 77. Jesus. In my mind he'll always be that dapper manager in his late 40s wearing the slacks and the club blazer and tie. 8)

jeez makes me feel old let alone you actual oldies...i was just beginning to go to games regularly 93 onwards with my old man as a boy just beginning comprehend it all and not just enjoying the replica kit over the park, fondly recall bursting for a pee watching the CWC final vs Parma on TV, running to the bog at full time as we had held out and being so excited i peed all over the bathroom floor missing the pan but didnt get a bollocking as we had won! They were nearly 30 years ago now....

GG now drawing his pension, and i wonder what Frank MClintock is like now, i have happy memories of him from Soccer Saturday being so very biased towards us, before they binned the old skool on there. Hope hes doing well still.
