I understand the "if a team is on a bad run then we are the team to play" thinking, but I honestly dont think that will be the case here - even at the best of times they have been a streaky team, and imo if you keep ward prowse quiet you shut them down completely. My one big concern would be conceding set pieces near our goals, but we are way too smart for that

The sad thing is, there isn’t a single tactical choice he can make which will majorly influence the outcome of this

Cedric will still be RB

Lokonga or Elneny - meh

Saka LWB, Nuno or Xhaka - all totally shit options

Lacazette or Nketiah - not a jot of difference

As for Martinelli down the middle - we will end up ruining him too. He hasn’t got the game for it in our formation

If we still had Chambers, Saliba, Guendouzi, Torreira and signed a replacement for Auba, we would have options. But we didn’t, so we haven’t

Honestly - whatever the line up, it won’t matter the odds. We are absolutely fucked

Southampton 3/1
Draw 3/1
Arsenal 19/20

A Spurs/Southampton double win is 5/1 :rubchin:

Nketiah ground game is not very good. But at least he offers a target in the box. Whether is a cross or a Martinelli Saka pullback, Nketiah will be attacking it.

I dont know what happened to Lacazette. He has went from reasonable player worthy if his place in the squad, to downright exasperating.

I still find it scnadalous a striker cannot socre despite being literally surrounded by Odegaard, Saka, and Martinelli

Fuck it I'm popping a crafty €20 on that. It's like free money. Unfortunately. :|

So desperate is Carpet Head now that apparently this 19 year old Biereth lad is training with the first team. From what I hear from a couple of people who watched him at the Wigan game in the Papa John's he's more raw than Balogun and barely got a kick

Arsenal FC after 2 and a bit years of Carpet Head - two strikers running their contracts down and who have scored a couple of league goals between them, and a 19 year old kid

Great options

It was fcuking madness thinking that we could play the last few months of the season with only a mini bus load of players (only when all are fit) without affecting us - lacking at our bench these days it's more of a "who ?" rather than a "who's who" of footballers

And we had a couple of people on here defending Martinez-Lite saying it was a good move thinning the squad out. It was a mental fucking move.

And let's not forget Martinez-Lite has spent a fortune to get us to this state.

Honestly it's mental shit. MENTAL. :x

£160m to be precise......and lets think about all the receipts we've got coming in

Chambers for fuck all (wasn't it £2m???), Guendouzi for £9m, Auba for now't. Honestly the man is a fucking imbecile and I can only hope that all the "top four junkies" turn on the c.unt when we're wallowing in 7th, still searching for someone to put the fucking ball in the net
