Southampton LLLLDL versus Carpet heid and his beige bottle jobs Sat 16th April KO 3PM

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The sad thing is, there isn’t a single tactical choice he can make which will majorly influence the outcome of this

Cedric will still be RB

Lokonga or Elneny - meh

Saka LWB, Nuno or Xhaka - all totally shit options

Lacazette or Nketiah - not a jot of difference

As for Martinelli down the middle - we will end up ruining him too. He hasn’t got the game for it in our formation

If we still had Chambers, Saliba, Guendouzi, Torreira and signed a replacement for Auba, we would have options. But we didn’t, so we haven’t

Honestly - whatever the line up, it won’t matter the odds. We are absolutely fucked
Pepe ? …….you’ve not mentioned Pepe :rubchin:

Well......there is actually that chance he could have one of his 1 in 10 worldie matches........but think that was his sub's appearance against Wolves

I'd literally completely forgotten about him, but indeed he could be added to the "won't make the slightest difference" list of options :D

Lacazette or Nketiah

However Lacazette and Nketiah might create a problem for Hassenhutti . Eddie got his goals for the Under 21's with Hudson Odoi or Abraham .
Big man little man.

Not saying that lacazette is big though.

Might win but could well lose too. We’re very much a confidence team so I’m expecting a rather dodgy disjointed performance whatever the result!

Need a win though. Top 4 is one thing but finishing out of the UEFA places would be a disaster.

That’s the defence/midfield we should have played against Brighton. Arteta reverting to that is about as close as you’ll get to him accepting he caused a tactical clusterfuck last week.

Nketiah to score?…. Anyone?

We simply have to win this. No fucking excuses. I will ban any cùnt that comes on here making excuses if we lose this. The scum have gone full sperzy and gifted us a fee one today. This is where we need the manager to install a full on fucking win at all costs mentality in the players. The players need to go out there and prison rape the shit outa the saints.

NO FUCKING EXCUSES. :box:

COME ON ARSENAL!!! :barscarf: :box:

I'd have swapped out Elninny for Clive. Elninny is not a good footballer but is 100% better than Clive and makes less retarded mistakes than Clive. Ultimately neither should be at Arsenal but as my dead granny is not available to replace him, getting rid of Clive is a priority.

If Nketiah can score against anyone it has to be against LLLLDL Southampton....
