Sounds like an invite to a night out at a gay club. Reminds me of the time Rodders and SteveO invited us all into that bubble bath. Oh, those were the days. Those beautiful days.

Glad you said 'at work' and not 'for his work',,,

I am still totally Baffled as to why we kept the featherweight - he scores the occasional goal... Whoooopeee-fuckin-doo, even DB's Granny (now deceased) (R.I.P Grandmother DB btw) could score the occasional goal!

Eddie The Feather will continue to contribute very little, score the occasional goal to keep his head above water (in the managers eyes) and run around a lot but other than that we should have fucked him off... and to think the shammers offered £20 MILLION for the human cocktail stick... and we said "no".:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Worrying defending still, even though it’s a friendly with our second string back 4,opened up twice by 2 straight balls,

I was thinking the exact same thing, also Tavares (for me) will never be a defender or perhaps ever good enough in any position.

That’s been a problem for years, a direct kick (hoof)up the pitch and we fall to pieces.

It's this stupid modern obsession with defenders now having to be footballers with a nice touch. Back in the day TA6 and Uncle loved to see that hoof. They'd just go early and fucking head it out, no pissing about with trying to take it down and lay it off or any of that horseshit. As my mate Sean the Defender always said "if in doubt put it out". 8)

It has been good to see ( in highlight clips admittedly) that Jesus and Eddie appear to have movement in and around the box rather than staying static which Lacca used to do.

Lacca was a good hold up player for others, but with Odegaard and Saka and Vieira and Martinelli and Smith Rowe all capable of playing the defence splitting pass it’s that movement into the danger zone that will bear fruit this season (hopefully)

There I go getting all excited and hopeful again. :banghead:
