Put out the women's team against them. Easy 2 nil win. Or put out the boys under 15s for an even easier 5 nil win. :D

Well it looks like Arteta is our best chance of mixing it with the big boys again.
So I’m back at the Emirates for this one - first match in over 2 years :barscarf:

First trip to the bowl for me this season - great to have our Thursdays back and well up for this. Definitely have to consider us favourites to win this thing this season

Good news in the fact we can rest all our defence now for this game. Hes still shit but a body that will do for this competition. Tommy can play CB

Arsenal defender Cedric Soares has now fully recovered from injury & is expected to be called up to face FK Bodø/Glimt this week. [@kayakaynak97] #afc

They have scored 60 plus goals so far in their season and the centre forward Pellegrino stands at 6 foot 4 has got most of them. It would be unwise to play a couple of shortarses at the back as we don't know how dominating Turner will be coming out for the ball/
Agreed we should be able to rotate but don't want to make it any harder than it could be.
We have them again away in a week or so but in the Artic we will be playing on a plastic pitch

IMHO that Matt Turner isn't very good.

The problem with having 2 good keepers is they both wanna play and one will get restless (Martinez situation). So it's a tough one to get right.

Let's hope Turner plays well.

I was surprised to see he is 28years of age which although young for a GK given some go on into their late 30's and that he cost $10 million, I don't know if his signing was part of a compromise between Edu & the Kroenkes on some other American Business or what, but he has something about him that doesn't inspire confidence, at least not yet, though surely they wouldn't have signed him if they didn't see potential etc

There were reports in various media outlets a few weeks ago that Arteta gave him a blocking in front of everyone for his attitude in training, if true he needs to either shape up or fuck-off.

I just hope he does firstly turn up and play well tonight and gets better very quickly to become a very good GK.

Yes, it would be unwise to think this is a done deal, how many times have we all witnessed a prem league team come undone by just strolling up thinking they're going to walk it.

This is literally their chance to make a name for themselves; the scalp of the leaders of the Prem is not to be sniffed at.

We can definitely do some serious damage to these providing of course we don't fuck about and All our players Turn-Up intent on destroying them.
