Brighton bulbeyes H Weds 9th Nov KO 745pm

If we're getting stressed about this then we need to remember we're top of the league and fast becoming the most exciting club in Europe. This won't matter in six months.

City going to win this thing for the 10th year in a row…..along with every other fucking competition
Except the Champions League.
Pep will find a way to fuck that one up. He always does with City.

As someone on Le Grove said, Alvarez at Man City is 2 years younger than Eddie, new to the league, on half Eddies wages and already much better.
If we really have ambition we can't be paying Eddie 100k a week and having him as our second striker. We're stuck with him for years now unless we let him go on a free like Ozil/PEA  :banghead:

And given him a 5 year contract. Very strange decision

We aren't clinical enough in front of goal.
That's it.
22 attempts but only 4 on target
And Brighton have as many on target from 13 attempts.
Even when they are on target, we too often hit it at the keeper.

For the number of chances we create, we should be hammering teams.
How many teams have we hammered since the pre-season friendlies?
Bournemouth 3-0
Brentford 3-0
Bodo glimt 3-0
Nottingham forest 5-0

There goes the quadruple.
Conversion rate from attempts on goal is atrocious.
We need to get this sorted during the world cup break.
Kinda think this will be a blessing in disguise. Remembering the 1990/91 season, got thumped 6-1 by Manure at Highbury. Didn't do our title chances any damage by going out in the first round.

Scum out and chavs out. After that, who fucking cares what happens with this. This is the one that you just know, the scum eye up with excitement every year as their one hope of a trophy with about twenty contingencies involving us and Man City and Chavs all going out early and them somehow getting an easy draw and hoping to play someone like Southampton or Leeds in the final. It hasn't happened again.

Whatever happens, the TV companies will make sure that they play the murderers or manure in the final.
