About time we went somewhere different. This is a perfect opportunity to give the stiffs a run. Just get through without any injuries and let's have a good old fashioned FA Cup sing-song. 4-0 to us and if we go out, I'll take he blame.

In order of importance:

NO Injuries; no matter who they are we cannot afford ANY

A WIN; and if not then a draw and if not a draw, then Yes we can all blame Perry!

Was thinking the same thing. Likely a couple of first team players will have to start

Possible line up:
Turner
Cedric Tomiyasu Holding Tierney
Elneny ESR
Marquinhos Viera Martinelli(?)
Eddie

Not sure if I’m forgetting any cover on attacking left hand side?
Wouldn’t be too surprised to see one of Gabriel or Saliba start alongside holding but hopefully both will be rested.
Also unsure if ESR is fit enough to start and unlikely he’d manage a full 90 minutes anyway
Perhaps a couple of the under 23s will start in place of others? It really does highlight the lack of options, particularly with the Europa coming up again soon.

Hopefully some reinforcements arrive before the transfer window shuts!

Is Nelson out long term? Suspect ESR will play as a false 9 if he does play. And has Sambi Lokonga left?

Not sure re Nelson but assumed he’d be out after not being on the bench last game
I’d completely forgotten about sambi lake though tbh!! More likely he’ll start alongside elneny with ESR in a more attacking role if fit

Requires good rotation here, and none of the usual starting 11 playing. But I'm not sure whether Mikel will rotate the whole team.
I have it on good authority that ESR will play 60/70 minutes.

Would like to see a rested team as our first 11 need it

Certainly game time for Turner, ESR, Vieira, Holding, Tierney, Lokonga, Tomi, Marquinhos,

And debuts for Felix, Mudryk, Tielemans, Rice, Valhovic, Locotelli, and anyone else we sign between now and then :barscarf: :barscarf:

No, definitely the Dreaming Spires - spent 4 years there and it was a dull town but a Great Uni. :bestmates: :bar_b_q: :ihh: :stearmaster: :suffolk_chunky: :the_doris_2: :sleep_keyboard:
