Well I do have the power and I'm often tempted.... but I'd never do that.....

The cheque is in the post DB... Go on you said you would!

If I ever got banned on here I’d wear it like a badge of honour. I’d be among the greats like US Martin, Babatunde and Red Member.
Walking amongst gods of men there mate! Sadly Wenger's Hat wasn't given enough time to establish himself as a legend but felt certain he would have done before Scary Irish Man banned him too!

You know what SteveO, I fucking miss them. Colourful characters for sure. They’d still be on here if it was up to me.

I wasn’t a member on here in the US Martin days, but used to read the forum and he’d make long, rambling, word salad type posts, but he knew that, despite the failings of the Old Fraud, it was the board that were ultimately responsible for the mess we were in.

Babatunde absolutely got what a total fraud Wenger was and I had to cheer him on for that. He ruffled feathers on here, but I liked a lot of what he said.

As for Red Member, he was fucking funny. I could never quite work out whether he was the quintessential WUM, or actually believed what he said. Didn’t you have to come from Avenell Road to be a proper Gooner?

Clearly ESR isn't looking great in training? I'd rather see him play than Vieira any day off the week! I agree that you need match fitness to be at your best but you need to show something in training to get that chance...... Or be one of Artetas faves like Xhaka!! :banghead:
I do worry about ESR, before, he was hooked on Nandos and had a problem with his weight. The club managed to break his habit but to me he didn't even look like he really tried when he played recently, he looked like he was very very unfit?
Ultimately I believe he's another Jack Wilshire, great player but his body can't cope with football. I hope I'm wrong but that's what it looks like.

Going back about 12 years or so, I wrote something on here about money, the old fraud, transfers and how shit it all was. Basically, the same thing that probably 99% of the people positing on here at the time wrote. US Martin started sending me PMs for days afterwards which were like university essays all about money, other clubs, the board's agenda and all that. They just kept coming. I always had this vision of him sitting in a room somewhere surrounded by spreadsheets and letters, watching grainy footage of the outside world on loads of black and white TVs and cutting up red string to link all his ideas together on an Ikea corkboard all whilst shouting out things like "Conspiracy" "End of Days!"

This type of logic makes me laugh - how the fcuk can a player regain his sharpness if he isnt getting time on the pitch ? It isnt a magic wand where he can just automatically pick up from where he left off before he was injured - players need minutes on the pitch to regain sharpness cos all the training in the world doesnt get a player up to match speed. Players, even the best players, need to feel valued and no way can smith-rowe feel valued by arteta when he would rather watch vieira stink the place out of it on a weekly basis than play smith-rowe.

Re the bournemouth game, is that the same game where smith-rowe had the assist for ben white's goal ? Seeing as you brought up that game, can you remember a single thing that vieira did in the game ? See I would be the first to admit that smith-rowe isnt back to his best yet, but in that game he contributed an assist and was still subbed whilst the portugese pussy contributed the square root of fcuk all AGAIN. Fans can with justification make the argument that smith-rowe isnt playing well enough to be a starter right now, but he should be miles ahead of vieira in the pecking order but is being treated shockingly by arteta, and as long as he is sitting on the bench, he is never gonna get back that match sharpness that he needs, and then some will slate him more for looking off the pace - the kid has no chance
Nelson assisted Ben White’s goal. Nelson came on for ESR who had been ineffective. One of those substituting a substitute rarities. ESR clearly has a motivation issue. I can see Arteta moving him on to be honest.

Halcyon days my friend. Red Member was pure genius - he had his own favourites list and Scary Irish Man had warned him a few times about potential WUMing before he went full tilt and made a recommendation for Denilson to be made captain :D :D :D He also wanted the return of Almunia, insisted that Djourou was an excellent centre half, and had Walcott and Song amongst his "big three" Arsenal players. He really did make it a fun place to be when the team was utter shite lol.

Your last sentence, you're getting mixed up with Highbury_JD - the bloke who was born in Islington town hall, walked to home games and hadn't missed a game since he was a fetus. The true superfan - we use to have some cracking run ins back in the day! One of those types who truly believed that unless you had the stadium postcode tattooed on your dick, then you weren't a proper fan. Lol, what a tool he was but still sadly missed. On the subject of run-ins, Babatunde and McDowell had some classic ding dongs as well and Baba had his own way with words when it came to anyone who disagreed with him! I know McDowell deeply misses his insight from Ligue 1 via his cousin and on the ground scouts :D

Wenger's Hat was definitely in the high potential category and then SIM banned him too the old meanie :D

Legends all of them,I once copied and pasted(as you do) 2 articles from 2 different stories on the Internet regarding the board, now reading them on their own they made sense, but I took a paragraph from each piece and put them together and they made no sense,I posted them on here and US Martin went about deciphering them

Babatunde who got banned then came back as Ichwehko (not sure of the exact spelling)and when he was pulled up on him being the same poster as Babatunde he denied it,but yet his posts and style were exactly the same :lol:and who could forget his cousin in France who had a fabulous insight into all things Arsenal, and must have had a huge phone bill because everytime babatunde posted he'd say I just spoke to my cousin in France.

There are no words for Red Member, an absolute legend who is sorely missed .

If you want to get all pedantic get your facts right fella. ESR assisted Partey’s goal. However you claimed he assisted Ben White’s goal, which he didn’t. Move along now.

The core of the point I made was that smith-rowe assisted a goal that day and was subbed, whilst vieira done nothing and was left on, and your response is to point out that I was wrong about which goal he assisted ?? How about addressing the core point instead ? And then you want to be dismissive with your "move along now" comment - why ? Have I argued with you on here before ? Not that I recall cos I generally agree with your posts, so explain the dismissive/disrespective aspect ?

Are you struggling to comprehend English? I think Vieira is total fucking toilet. ESR is clearly struggling. I like ESR but he’s miles off the pace.

Red Member was hilarious and if he was just wumming, he was very good at it...Walcott and Song

I always had a soft spot for Baba, because he was so fervently anti Wenger. As McD says, funny when he made a comeback as Ikechukwu or whatever and insisted he wasn't Baba.

I didn't see much of Wenger's Hat, only a few posts, because he coincided with one of my extended breaks from this asylum. Seems I missed a treat.
