Red dippers A Sun 9th Apr KO 430pm

Post by falkirk goon »

Next up for us after today's deserved win it's a trip to play this shower. They were shite today but no doubt they'll be up for this as they always are.Our record up there in the last few years has been shite  I think 2012 was our last win there when twinkle toes Abou led them a merry dance. As usual fuck knows how this will go.

It's about time we went up there and won. Have us down for a 2-0 but possibly, a nervy 2-1.

We’re the only team to win 7 on the bounce this season, let’s make it 8 :barscarf:

Our 5/8 point lead does feel very fragile given the away games we have left. Man City are experienced at this stage of the season but we need them to drop unlikely points. Having said that we have put some hoodoo's to rest this season, please may it continue with a rare win at Anfield when needed. Spirit of 89.

Aways here City and the barcodes look really dodgy  each of them have lost 1 home game each. The other 2aways are a derby at the Shammers and Forest who have only lost once at home in a good few months. The aways look far from straightforward.

Was gonna write that this is a massive game but tbh every game is now.

I've a gut feeling we'll win this one 0-2 or 1-2.

Useless car thieves shat the bed at City, they better do us the same privilege.

I think we might drop points here 1-1.

We will win as it is my 60th next weekend and we have a fine record of winning near my Birthday :barscarf: . This is similar to the Trophy Dodgers away our poor record there was destroyed by the performance of the season. We can do the same here. The Dippers fans will be flat if they lose to the Chavs on Tuesday and they hate City especially after the Liverpool Bus was attacked yesterday.

One thing for sure, if we do win it, it will not be on goal difference etc.

Thing is Gabriel and Saliba have developed an almost telepathic understanding now and no matter who covers for either of them, it was / is always going to be difficult to replicate that

I TOTALLY understand your thinking mate, BUT he has been slightly better than when he stepped into the breach at the end of last season; not that that is saying much, but he Has improved and (hopefully) will gain in confidence etc the more games he plays.

Who knows wouldn't it be something for him to have an Outstanding Game against the murdering scousers and Score a Goal (for Us!)...from a corner or set piece!?

City will be looking at our three away matches against Liverpool, Newcastle and themselves and the prime games for us to drop points on the run in which is why a win here would be absolutely massive for us.

Not only would it be another 3 points on the board it would be a huge psychological blow to city who’d have to think they need to win every game between here and the finish, which with huge European games also on their radar is a massive ask.

We always lose up there, fucking always, even at Goodison for fuck sake, time to put that right.

Massive game.

Who does he drop next week Jesus, Martinelli, or Trossard? All three played well yesterday.
