Chelsea match moved

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

King's Coronation rehearsals that day. Coronation itself is a week later.

Probably explains the Youth Cup Final date as the 29th. Club knew the Chelsea game would be moved.

I wasn’t able to make it on 29th so didn’t get a ticket. But I can make 2nd May :banghead:

Should be a few tickets available for people suffering the reverse fate.

A mere 18 days out from the fixture they change the date, fans shat on as per usual.

Yep. As soon as the date of the Coronation was fixed they should have announced that all London games would be moved for the event and the rehearsal.

Why don't we all crack on as normal or double up and do the match and Coronation all as one? We could play the first half, Coronation at half-time, stick on the kettle or open a bottle, quick coach ride round the streets and back for the second half. Everyone's in a good mood and as a special bonus, the King could be the special VAR ref for the game. He could wave the sceptre if the goal stands or hold the orb if it's disallowed. For offsides, he could just guess by drawing a line with a sword or something and quite frankly, nobody would know any different.

Bullshit! The coronation date has been set since the fall and the MET approved this time and date back in FEBRUARY.

Traveling from the u.s. this is a massive pain to rebook flights, hotels and schedules at work on short notice. :banghead:

Supporters thought of LAST, as usual.

Have a read of another post I've made before calling me out for bullshìt.

You choose to support an English club you run the risk of such inconveniences happening. A King's coronation is no small event you know.

Not sure if anyone was aware but McDowell reckons they might be looking to move the Chelsea match. He heard it on Twitter.
