From twatter -

Arsenal had one shot between the 45th and 77th minute.

They managed 10 between the 78th and the end of the game.

The performance when we came out after HT was abysmal. Walking paced sideways football and conceded another for good measure. That’s where all the damage was done.

My goodwill toward the team and manager from this season is seriously strained at the moment after these last 2 games. Fucking fuming is an understatement.

This was a 2020/21 level performance. Vieira is Denis Suarez levels of shitness.

And as much as i like Jesus, a fucking number 9 should be playing on the shoulder of a defender and making runs into the box, not dropping into the holding midfielder position of the ball.

That's my weekend fucked! Cunts, the lot of them!

I’m in bits after that.

So much self harm in the last few games, Xhaka at Anfield, Partey at west ham and Ramsdale tonight.

So many mistakes and pissing in goals for fun. We look so brittle and it feels like we will concede absolutely everything that goes at our goal.
All self inflicted

As you said in an earlier post no intensity to our play till 5 mins to go :banghead:

Holding hasn’t done anything specifically wrong but he just doesn’t have the same ability or calming presence of Saliba ( or the same passing range )

Back post kills us time after time - and we never have anyone there for our corners / free kicks either.

Trossard coming on lifted it - he should have been on at HT.

Hope Sheff Utd kick City to bits

I actually think Arteta has shit the bed more than the players. I wouldn’t play Vieira in a women’s match. Absolute suicide.

Ramsdale has totally fucked us tonight. I’d drop him for Turner.

Hard to see how players who’ve been dropping 2 out of 10 performances for the last couple of games can suddenly drop a 9 in the toughest game of the season Wednesday night but that’s what’s required.

Jesus missed some great chances and absolutely killed us at the end by drifting out wide when we badly needed him in the box.

Jesus can be a great player but imo he will never be a great number 9 cos he does not score enough goals - city played grealish as a false 9 last season instead of playing jesus there, and that tells you everything about the confidence pep had in him as a 9

The one he put over the bar from the through ball was a poor miss to Augie, a clinical striker buries that.

Feel numb after that, don’t know what to do with myself now.

We conceded after 15 seconds against Bournemouth, then Palace (I think it was) did the exact same kick off routine pinging it down on Zinchenko and Ramsdale had to make a save after 15 seconds and then tonight we again concede after 15 seconds.

For that to happen once is absolutely unforgivable, for it to happen 3 times in our last 5 home games is a total disgrace.

This type of post actually annoys me more than the apparently WUM negative posters.

Mark my words. We will be mauled.

Lads, I'm fucking exhausted. Hitting the hay. Be nice to each other tonight because I swear if I have to come on here tomorrow to a load of childish name calling and personal insults I'll just start banning people.

Yeah that’s the one Augie, it was a perfect ball, he just needed to guide it into the net, instead he got too much on it and put it over.

I’ll be awake half the fucking night now.

When we signed him I read some comments by City fans on BBC Football saying exactly this. One City fan said he is better as a winger than a striker as he misses so many chances.

My fear and expectancy is that we pick up a handful of points to the end of the season. This then feeds into next season and we go backwards in a massive way.

It was so simple to manage the blip at Anfield. But Arteta has ignored the signs and instead of injecting some experience into the side (Trossard and Jorginho) he has let it unravel whilst humming and putting his fingers in his ears. This side has gone. Big time.
