Still fuming about playing Fabio fucking Vieira over Jorginho against Saints. What a fucking clusterfuck of a decision.
And it's also increasingly apparent that Kiwior is head and shoulders above Holding, and that KT is much more solid at LB when the pressure is on

If the three of them had played instead of the irresponsible Partey, hopeless Holding and weak Zinchenko, it might have made a vast difference. Jorginho has been criminally underused
We bought or had already experienced players. We left it on the bench and blew up. This is on Arteta. Zinchenko was woeful today. Tierney brilliant when he came on. Jorginho controlled midfield and their Bruno was made to look a total c unt.

Post game Interview with Arteta (BBC)

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65521551

In the post game write-up by Phil McNulty (BBC)

Here's a nice quote / extract from his review:

"smart and ugly Arsenal were when required, employing what might politely be termed "game management" to slow Newcastle's momentum and break up play.

It enraged the Newcastle fans and management team, especially assistant boss Jason Tindall, but it must be pointed out they have used very similar methods when it has suited them, so any complaints ring rather hollow.

Newcastle, in reality, got a taste of their own medicine."

Aaaaaand!

Need to add this to the highlights. Xhaka saves a sure fire goal with a well timed last ditch tackle. Takes me back to the days of Adams/Keown/Campbell seeing that.

Have a read of this article by Craig Hope. Journalist that doesn’t hide his sycophantic Newcastle support. Has the audacity to claim we were impersonating Spurs up until their penalty. What the actual fuck? It was 0-0. Spurs were 5 nil down after 20 minutes.

The beauty of this win is that it rankles all the right people, rat boy Gary was shell shocked, he thought he'd be laughing and dancing his way through the afternoon, everyone at Stoke with money was waiting for this game for weeks to stick one on us, city thought we'd lose allowing them to play their stiffs next week against Everton and fully concentrate on Madrid, the crowd screamed and cried like hyenas all game, the referee allowed them kick and elbow us all over the park......

and we fucking rammed the lot back down all their throats :barscarf:

I used to like (maybe too strong) Newcastle, now they are just as cvnty as either of the manc teams.

One thing we really need to improve is size/strength, they dwarfed us with big cvnts, we saw in the Etihad game how this helped them win the aerial battle and break the high press.

Fortunately Wilson isn't Haaland and technically Newcastle are a tier down as well.

How many times should Guimares have been booked though ffs?, probably 4 yellows there, I would call the ref a big cvnt but at least he got the pen call right, with help, so just a medium sized cvnt. 🙄

We really need someone big as an option up top, Jesus gives us so much but he can't help being his height, I can see us going back in for Vlaihovic, he isn't Haaland but he's probably as close as we'll get?

What I hope most of all is that he's finally seen the light with the likes of Partey. I maintain that if Holding and Partey started yesterday we'd have wilted. It was also a very telling substitution at the time taking off Zinchenko for Tierney - from the minute it happened, all the attacking threat down that side disappeared. These are the games that have let us down in the past - and they will do again if we stick to the same snowflakes that go missing when the heat is on. Kiwior and Jorginho were immense yesterday, as was Ramsdale...and it brings out the battling qualities of others. Tierney dug deep as well

These are the sort of players we have to have in our squad. There's no point adding more talented young lads without the type of players who can handle Newcastle away and similar games.

Hopefully not a one off- and more of a recognition that a different type of player is needed on these occasions

In your own way Rodders for all the joshing and light banter of bath Tubs and Candles; are a "Poet" in your own special way..

You speak the truth

Some of the things that made yesterday's (HardWon) victory all the sweeter, is as you say because" it rankles all the right people"... All those cun.ts that want and yearn to see us humiliated and be like them - Utter Fuck-Ups.

Same goes for some of the negative opinions expressed so readily on here...

I think yesterday not only proved to be a Testing Ground (no pun intended) But was also a very steep learning curve whereby Players, Manager, Coaching Staff AND some Fans Learnt a Great Deal.

$hitty may still go on and steal the title, BUT they will fuck-up (even if only a tiny bit) along the way... it is written in the footballing Stars

I am Proud of the Team and Manager for yesterdays Performance and Victory.

Fuck me. Are we Trying to eat minutes in the 19th?!!!!
Why not, they did it at ours
True but they didn't lose 3-1. Which we probably will because our defence is too weak to do that so early.
Not lost 3-1 in the league after going in front since 20/21 at Liverpool

Will be great to finish the season on a high. The three games of doom will take a while to forget, but hard to argue with finishing on 85+ points. Nobody backed us to pick up 70.
My son did
Had 30 pound on us to win the league at 66-1

I know it is unlikely beck, BUT this is football and there have been some unbelievable outcomes throughout the season... So he may yet get the drinks in
