🚨 Mail Sport understands there are major concerns that Jurrien Timber may have suffered a significant knee ligament injury that will keep him sidelined for MONTHS rather than weeks. [@SamiMokbel81_DM] #afc

Dramatic news for Jurriën #Timber, who is sidelined for months with injury to his anterior cruciate ligament, sources around the player report. Further investigations to follow. #Arsenal

This is a fucking disaster, just when we thought we’d serious depth all across the back line this shit happens.

This is so catastrophic it might mean that Banter Bob Holding stays….and gets game time during the season :banghead:

Been fearing a newsflash on my phone with the Timber update from the second he went off on Saturday and it’s even fucking worse than I feared.

Football is brutal at times.

Hope the young lad realises how good he can be , gets his head down , recovers fully and comes back stronger than ever.

Happy fucking Monday.

Personally I'll hold fast on my doom and gloom regarding Timber until there's an official statement from the club.

Players with a totally fúcked ACL don't tend to try playing on, they usually lay there unmoving in complete agony. Unless he has some off the scale pain threshold then I'm inclined to think it's sensational reporting again.

Hope I'm right. 🤞

If he is out for a long time ,the medical staff need to be sacked

Not sure I'd blame the medical staff mate. How many knee ligament injuries have we heard of the last week or so? 4?

All players that represent teams that toured the US and had to play on those ridiculous temporary pitches.

I don't believe in coincidence myself.

It's just all about the money and players be damned, as we know.
