Rice and Tomi were excellent. Draw in the other game in the group too. Cushty :barscarf:
Yep Tomi quietly being very solid, so much more than Zinchencko

Rice is 8 out of 10 every week

Jesus earned his corm with 2 magic moments

Gabi and Saliba decent at the back

Rice worth every penny, just superb. So many on here wanted Caicedo. .. Fucking glad that didn't work out!!
Special word for Tomi, looked good and totally deserves to keep his place over the wandering fuckwit Zinchenko.

Eddie and Havertz may as well have not come on because we only had 9 men when they did anyway, awful.

Raya...... Looking more like a pubber every game. Won't get dropped though, Artwenger wants to prove a point..... :banghead:

Jesus hammy the biggest downer of the night. Hopefully that’s not too serious.

I know we rode our luck a bit at the end there with that fucking stupid Raya punch but that was the type of Champions League game that we would have nothing from when we were last in it. We'd have scored and then let then back in to win it. I know it wasn't the hardest opposition but they're a good side at home with years of European experience and we won there without too much drama. Took our chances and looked decent up front with Martinelli and Jesus. Saka had an OK night but Rice gets better and better and more effective every game.

I aint gonna stand up for the guy cos he aint good enough and never will be, but he is a squad player where as odeargod is our captain and getting paid a kings ransom and is a second rate player and not even pub team captain's level in leadership or courage - I would fcuk him out before anyone else :censored: :censored: :censored:

Fuck me, a win and a couple of good goals, but a Wengeresque style display.

Both centre backs played well...Saliba is special...and Tomi good at right back. Rice strong and uncompromising, never going to be particularly elegant or creative, but he's what we were missing. Martinelli good again, but I'm pro Gabi biased.

Now the down side:
Raya :speechless: When you hear me calling for Ramsdale to be between the sticks, then it tells you what I think of Raya. I don't think Ramsdale is good enough, but Raya is currently a horror show.

Jorginho, its all been said. Gives the ball away too often and offers too little.

Saka...wtf is going on. A class player but been out of form for a while.

Odegaard...was he playing?? An absolute spectator in a tough game, as usual.

Havertz. Fuck me, I feel bad beefing about him, because he's such an easy target and I bang on about him endlessly, but he offers absolutely nothing. Stands there and when he does move he wanders aimlessly with no sense of purpose at all. Not only is he zero threat, but opposition players simply waltz around him and he doesn't even offer an apology of a challenge. When he does get the ball, he'll under-hit a 5 yard backwards pass. Not his fault for being a non entity, it's entirely on Arteta for buying him.
