Been out after work and home half an hour ago, so missed the game, but just read this thread and watched highlights of the goals on the internet.

From what you guys were saying, we were poor, but got out of jail at the death. We really shouldn't be struggling against a crap outfit like Luton, even if the ref was as bad as you guys were saying. Still, life is made fucking difficult when your keeper gifts the oppo 2 goals.

Ramsdale isn't good enough to play at the very top level, but fuck me, he needs to start before Raya. We've only got the bloke on loan, but we all know that Arteta will sign him permanently even if he fucks up like that in every game, because just like his mentor, the Old Fraud, he won't admit to being wrong. He was recommended by our goalkeeping coach (did he also recommend Runarsspn?), but the buck stops with Legohead.

Sounds as though Odegaard went missing as usual in a tough game and that is simply unacceptable. I wasn't a fan of the Rice signing, particularly for the amount paid, but thank fuck we bought him, because I dread to think where we'd be without him in the side.

Hard to believe that we're top as we've got away with murder so far this season and you can't keep getting away with it. We're a goalkeeper, a centre mid and a centre forward away from being the complete team, but I'm not expecting Arteta to act on any of that.

Anyway, 3 points I suppose.
You should have gone to bed instead of writing this drivel. How can you objectively say anything about a game if you haven't seen a minute of it, and then rely on this forum of all places to form an opinion.

Arsenal in the attacking sense created chances, it was the Goalkeeper that made the game what it was. As for Odegaard, it was one of his best performances in months. Seems like he's getting over his injury niggles he's had recently.

Arteta is a fucking nutter, just wish he'd acknowledge Raya isn't an upgrade on Ramsdale, all very well having the stats but playing for a big club like Arsenal is totally different gravy to what he has experienced so far in his career. Some players just don't have the temperament.

If this is what gets said when we are five points clear in a much closer title race, god help us when we do go on a bad run, some people will be suicidal.
Think we're all agreed about Raya, but resigned to the fact that Arteta's blind faith/stubbornness will mean we will waste £30m or whatever it is on the loser come the Summer, and fuck off a far superior keeper to a PL rival. Just utter madness

With regard to Odegaard, I think his performance summed up what he's all about. When we were bossing it in the first half, he was at the heart of everything good. His close control, technique and ability to dig out little passes is up there with anyone - he was on course to be MoTM at that point in the game. When it was 2-2 and then 3-2, he was virtually anonymous and for me that has been a theme with him since he signed - almost Hleb/Nasri-esque when it comes to flat track bullying, but almost hiding when we're losing away from home, and easily dominated physically. Having said all that it was a pinpoint cross when the pressure was on for that winning goal, and as I said, his technique can't be faulted.

Fair fucks for digging out the result AGAIN, but did anyone see the stats which showed we are now top of the PL leaderboard in terms of errors leading directly to a goal - if we took Raya out of the team, I'm guessing we'd be near the bottom of that table

Oh and did I mention, my man crush on Big Dec has reached gaylord proportions :D :barscarf:

“Drivel”? I made it clear that I hadn’t seen the game and was basing my comments on what I’d read on here. So by extension, you clearly think that what the guys on here were saying was also drivel? Yet the only thing you seem to disagree with is that Odegaard had his best game for months and didn’t disappear.

You’re right, I can’t comment objectively as I didn’t see the game, but let me put it this way, I trust the opinion of most posters on here over the unadulterated bollocks that you generally come out with. Drivel would be a compliment for the inane crap you post.

Lads he was a complete coward pulling out of 50/50 challenges and misplacing passes.

He did make up for it with that cross at the end but to say he had a good game is madness
Not one of his better games TBH not really his type of game no space....very physical from them.....he sort of disappears....in the last 10 mins we came alive more and yes the cross for the goal was bang on the money

Rice so far this season has been superb

What I found more shocking is an Arsenal fan calling those fudges to moan when our game is on a knife edge. I can barely answer with a grunt to my missus during a game like that, let alone waste my money calling up an ex-Renter and that other bollocks talking Scum twat on Talkshite.

Odergaard is meant to be creative midfileder unpicking defences like there's..his cross was good but est if game he wasn't, backing out of 60 40s and not loooking like even trying to unlock their defence.

It's games like thay he should be creating chance after chance and unlocking their limited talent blocks (as ultimatkeybots luton and their cack)... hate to say it but maddsion has been fat more creative and influential thus far in similar role.

Few things, firstly Odegaard has been carrying an injury for the last few months and playing through it. Secondly Maddison has had 8 goal involvements in 11 PL games, Odegaard has had 7 in 12.

The way that Tottenham and Arsenal set up is totally different. So we face a totally different set of challenges when we play other PL teams especially at home. Are there aspects of Odegaards game that are weak, sure but please don't tell me that two months of peak Maddison is any better. The bloke went missing for his last 2 seasons at Leicester.

:D

This reaction is getting boring as fuck as well. I don’t rate Ramsdale as good enough for a top level side, but for the umpteenth time, do people honestly think that it equates to thinking every other keeper in the land is an improvement??

Me and most others on here thought Xhaka was beyond useless. Does that mean that we automatically think that Havertz is top quality because he replaced him?

Fuck me, the juvenile thought processes amongst some on here is embarrassing. Grow up ffs.

I stopped posting on here a while back due to the non stop negativity mainly by the majority (the are a few good lads here too ) .

We all know who the certain bad apples are , after a good result you don’t hear from them at all . They then shut up , it is as if they are WUM’s. To read through the comments over the months made by the Same old sorts is unbelievable. They must live in a hell which is called ARSENAL. At the moment there are 19 other teams be,ow us who would want to be in our position .

Nutflush well done , I don’t know how you continue to do it here but thumbs up .

Retro , old man , well ffs you have already been voted Crunt of the year . You are a total moron and a living cancer on this forum which was a much better place without you here . Why don’t you do everyone a favour . I am sure in real life you are no different either , sad and bitter and we are top of the league !
