High time Jesus did something in a game and mark. Bloke has been a waste of space imo. Wouldn't be at all sorry to see him off-loaded in the summer, but he's a favourite of the boss.

FAVOURITES

zinchenko - starts
Jesus - starts
Havertz - starts

Kinda shows up the bullsh!t defence by some on here lately when they dispute the fact that the cone boy has his favourites - when we bought jesus I argued that martinelli would get shafted cos jesus is NOT a striker, and it has taken time but the prophecy is coming to fruition.

Jesus stank the place out of it against citeeh last week and yet starts again today
Zinchenko has been dogshit for a long time and yet is preferred to kiwor today - no wonder kiwor is pushing to leave

So people don’t understand rotation here. Trossard played midweek and Martinelli is nursing an injured foot so Jesus starts. Kiwior and Tomiyasu clearly being held back for Bayern so Zinchenko covers.

Strong side but one that has an eye on midweek. Should still be strong enough to get a result so I’d recommend it might be worth waiting until full time before walking onto a level crossing to stop the pain.

But Zinchenko is this seasons equivalent of Clive Tache an accident just waiting to happen, put simply he cannot defend. Especially as we have Both Tomi and Kiwior available. Especially as we know Brighton are a "Footballing" side and like us use their flank players to attack

ARSENAL:

22 Raya
4 White
2 Saliba
6 Gabriel
35 Zinchenko
8 Ødegaard
20 Jorginho
41 Rice
7 Saka
29 Havertz
9 Gabriel Jesus

Substitutes:

1 Ramsdale
5 Partey
10 Smith Rowe
11 Martinelli
14 Nketiah
15 Kiwior
18 Tomiyasu
19Trossard
21Fábio Vieira

Agree generally on zinchenkos defensive ability but it should be enough for Brighton and like I have said above it means he won’t be involved against Bayern. I’d also suggest likewise with Jesus. I think they are trying to get Martinelli fit enough to play Bayern. He has a major cut on his foot he’s nursing.
