next manager
next manager
this is in no way supposed to be an attack on wenger as i think he should stay.
we all know when he leaves his current post he is 95% likely to move upstairs, so we will never really lose him.
so if we were to have another baron season, i think bringing in the next manager in to work along side him may not be a bad idea a la united with rudolph an queros.
my guess is that it could possibly be one of grimandi, bilic, or possibly rikard
wat you guys think?

Bilic has been link to a move in the premiership. I have been quite impressed by him. Maybe not as a replacement to Wenger, but if Wenger retires, id like to see Bilic at Arsenal. I dont think we should go for an elderly heavyweight coach, but a young and dynamic one. If not Bilic, then maybe Van Basten or try and convince Gus Hiddink.
Thanks mate you just made my day. hiddink is 61 so that makes me really young and dynamic.Gunnerz4life wrote:Bilic has been link to a move in the premiership. I have been quite impressed by him. I meant it as if we are unable to get the likes of Bilic and Van Basten. There rnt too many young and talented managers to choose from really.Chippy wrote:Thanks mate you just made my day. hiddink is 61 so that makes me really young and dynamic.Gunnerz4life wrote:Bilic has been link to a move in the premiership. Van Basten, O'neil or Hiddink for me.
Don't see how Arsene moving 'upstairs' could work. Either he is the manager or not....Arsene moving upstairs would put off the names above as they are too established. If someone with less experience like Grimandi would basically mean Arsene was still manager with a 1st team coach with a little responsibility.
Would Grimandi stand up to Arsene and ignore he team selection advice? I doubt it.
Did they not try it at Manure with Busby? After 1 season he was back in full charge as no manager worked????
