I've just ordered Perry Groves' autobiography - I wouldn't waste your money on A.Hole.

Believe me i wasnt asking with any intentions of buying a copy. I was just wondering if anyone had actually read it, and what they thought.

I've read some extracts from a newspaper, Times or Telegraph, I think. Well altogether he criticised us, that famous/infamous 55k quote and all that. He also pointed out that we were cheap and economised when on away trips, on little things such as coffee, as well as hotels :? He was unhappy that fans didn't sing his name in last Highbury match and it hurt him. Henry and Cashley were talking while the fans sang Henry's name and Henry said "They (fans) will sing you name". But we didn't, well done Gooners

He talked about the "Mike Riley show" when our unbeaten run finished and how pizza was thrown at Red Nose. He said it was funny seeing a legend like Fergie, baffled and covered in pizza, all of our ream laughed in the dressing room despite losing. He also said that there were tensions between different players. In particular between Freddie and Robin, supposedly once Robin said that "why doesn't he (Freddie) ever talk with me" while training. He said that Senderos disrespected and didn't take advise from Keown. Hope that helped

I've got Ian Wright's book, half-way through it! My dad has ABSOLUTELY LOADS of them, Ian Wright, Charlie George, paul gasgoise, vieira, Bob Wilson's( I think) among others, also went on a tour of AG with Charlie George, shook his hand the legend! And yes this guy IS a legend augie, OK?

Do you have anything else from c*shley's book?

Ian Wright's is very good, highly recommended. Writes about his palace days as well and before he became a proffesional footballer.

Read Groves, Wright, Merson, Seaman and more but I think Bob Wilsons was def one of the best. The way he talks about his brothers who died in WW2 is very touching. Vieira is good when he talks about Van horse face, calls him a cheat etc.
