ONLINE TOUTS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A friend of mine was in piccadilly the other day and he saw touts handing out silver cards for alot of cash. Alot of them get the tickets on red memberships too. This season there is 1,500 guaranteed for every home league game. Id estimate an easy 300 of them could be touts. So when the big games come ie sperz, chavs, and the mancs just think how much they can sell them for.

the touts have got gold, silver & red memberships. Usually the people who buy the match tickets (for rediculous ammounts of money) have to give a large deposit to make sure they give the cards back afterwards, or one of the touts comes into the ground & collects them inside the stadium.

if the club finds out which memberships are being used in this way they cancel the membership so that it cannot be used again.

touts are the scum of the earth

My dad had his Silver membership cancelled by the club, as they had him down as a tout!

He wasn't going to many games, as he was ill, and it turned out that an employee of Ticketmaster had changed my dads card details to a London address (my dad lives in Lancashire) and my dad's card was being used for every home game, without my dad's knowledge!

Anyway, once he'd complained, and everythng was sorted out...he had his silver membership re-instated :barscarf:

But, just goes to show that touts always find a way

How much of a price increase are they putting on them?

What would be regular/average ticket prices?
